HALLOSUMEDANG – The enthusiasm of the aspiring supervisors for the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada) in Sumedang Regency is burning. Today, 59 candidates from 11 districts in Sumedang competed in the Computer Assisted Test (CAT) and Essay tests organized by the Sumedang Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) at SMK Informatika.
“A total of 62 applicants passed the administrative selection,” said Fachrulroji Al Fitri, S.I.Kom, Coordinator of the Human Resources and Organization Division (SDMO) of the Sumedang Bawaslu. “However, 3 of them did not attend the test this time.”
Participants were faced with 100 questions for the CAT and 10 questions for the essay test. This exam is the initial step for them to become fair and reliable supervisors for the 2024 Pilkada.
“The results of the written test will be announced on May 17, 2024,” said Fachrulroji. “Furthermore, participants who pass will undergo an interview test.”
Only 2 times the need will fill the 17 vacancies of Panwaslu kecamatan in Sumedang. Tight competition is inevitable.
“The participants who take the written test will be ranked later,” explained Fachrulroji.
The announcement of the selected Panwaslu kecamatan members will be made on May 22, and the inauguration will be held from May 24 to 25, 2024.
“Through this selection, we hope that the supervision process for the 2024 Pilkada can be more optimal,” said Fachrulroji.
The enthusiasm of the aspiring Pilkada supervisors in 2024 is commendable. Their perseverance and dedication to upholding democracy in Sumedang are an example for us all.
