HALLOSUMEDANG – The Public Works and Spatial Planning Department (PUTR) of Sumedang Regency plays a crucial role as the frontline in serving the community. Acting Regent of Sumedang, Yudia Ramli, emphasized that PUTR holds a strategic position in the implementation of regional governance. This was conveyed during his visit and gathering with the PUTR Department on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.
Yudia Ramli highlighted that the main task of the government is to ensure the welfare of the community, especially through excellent public services. The PUTR Department plays a vital role in realizing this by providing adequate facilities and infrastructure for the community.
Furthermore, Yudia Ramli explained that the strategic role of PUTR aligns with the vision of Sumedang Sehati, namely a Prosperous, Religious, and Democratic Sumedang. The success of PUTR in achieving this vision depends heavily on the procurement of quality infrastructure that meets standards. Particularly in the construction of roads and bridges, safety must be a top priority.
Acting Regent Yudia Ramli also hopes that the PUTR Department will continue to establish good coordination with various related agencies to create synergy in the implementation of tasks in the field. “Increase coordination with other SKPDs, be responsive, and address community complaints,” he advised.
