The Department of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Sports (Disparbudpora) of Sumedang Regency, through the Creative Economy Division, held the vibrant 2024 Creative Economy Arts Market at the Sumedang Creative Center (SCC) building.

The three-day event, from June 20th to 22nd, 2024, marks the 2nd anniversary of SCC and the 78th anniversary of Bhayangkara. The Acting Regent of Sumedang, Yudia Ramli, officially opened the event, which was filled with various exciting activities such as a creative product bazaar, an exhibition of innovative works from the Sumedang Creative Economy Community (Ekraf), and art performances that blend tradition and modernity.

The Head of Disparbudpora Sumedang, Nandang Suparman, explained that this Creative Economy Arts Market is a concrete step in developing the creative economy sub-sector in Sumedang.

“We hope this event can be a catalyst in increasing sales, marketing, and promotion of Sumedang’s creative economy products,” he said.
