HALLOSUMEDANG – Sumedang Regional Police, in collaboration with Bhayangkari Branch of Sumedang, organized a cheap bazaar to stabilize rice prices in the Sumedang District area. The event was attended by Sumedang Regional Police Chief, AKBP Joko Dwi Harsono, S.I.K., M.Hum., Chairperson of Bhayangkari Branch of Sumedang, Mrs. Linda Joko Dwi Harsono, senior officials of Sumedang Regional Police, and members of Bhayangkari Branch of Sumedang. This cheap bazaar was held in 5 sub-districts, namely Ganeas, Paseh, Cimanggung, Conggeang, and Cimalaka. Sumedang Regional Police provided 10 tons of rice packaged in 2,000 bags and sold at a price of Rp. 54,000 per bag.
“In this cheap bazaar, we from Sumedang Regional Police and Bhayangkari Branch of Sumedang provide 2,000 bags of rice distributed to five sub-districts in Sumedang regency,” said Joko.
Sumedang Regional Police Chief conveyed that this activity is a real effort by Sumedang Regional Police to assist the community in facing rising rice prices. Furthermore, this activity also aims to strengthen the relationship between Sumedang Regional Police, Bhayangkari, and the community.
