HALLOSUMEDANG – The Acting Regent of Sumedang, Yudia Ramli, inaugurated the Jaya Perkasa Abadi Circuit in Palabuan Village, Ujungjaya District, on Sunday (2/5/2024).
The inauguration was part of his working visit to Ujungjaya District and also marked the opening of the 2024 Grasstrack Open.
Yudia Ramli expressed his appreciation for the success of the village head and his staff in building the circuit through solid collaboration with various parties.
“I highly appreciate the initiative of the village head and all parties involved in realizing this grasstrack circuit,” he said.
The Jaya Perkasa Abadi Circuit is expected to be a place for young people to channel their interests and talents in the automotive field in a positive way.
“This grasstrack championship is not only a competition arena, but also a medium of education and a search for potential seeds of regional crosser candidates who can make Sumedang proud at the national level,” added Yudia Ramli.
Furthermore, the Acting Regent of Sumedang also sees this activity as a means of promoting Sumedang tourism.
“Apart from competing in a healthy manner, this event is also an opportunity to introduce Sumedang tourist destinations to the wider community,” he said.
To the championship participants, Yudia Ramli advised them to take advantage of this opportunity to hone their skills and give their best performance.
The 2024 Grasstrack Open was attended by 250 crossers from all over West Java Province and lasted for two days.
