HALLOSUMEDANG – The atmosphere of the Sumedang State Building today is filled with burning democratic spirit. Acting Regent of Sumedang, Yudia Ramli, together with the ranks of the Sumedang Regency Election Commission (KPU) and Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) gathered in an audience full of optimism.

This meeting is an important moment to align visions and missions in successfully holding the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Head Election (Pilkada) in Sumedang. Acting Regent Yudia Ramli emphasized his commitment to realizing a safe, fair, and just Pilkada.

“As Acting Regent, I have a responsibility to ensure the smooth and neutral running of the Sumedang Pilkada. Quality, honesty, and justice are the mainstays in every stage,” said Yudia Ramli.

Furthermore, the Acting Regent of Sumedang conveyed that the Regional Grant Agreement (NPHD) for Pilkada funding had been signed by the Sumedang Regency Government, KPU, and Bawaslu. This is real proof of the full support of the Sumedang Regency Government for the implementation of a democratic Pilkada.

The spirit of collaboration is also evident from the Sumedang KPU. The Head of the Sumedang KPU, Ogi Ahmad Fauzi, stated that the Rp. 44 billion fund allocated for the KPU has been received 100%.

“These funds will be used for the smooth running of the KPU’s duties in organizing the Pilkada,” explained Ogi.

He also appreciated the good cooperation with the Sumedang Regency Government, which allowed the NPHD process and the disbursement of funds to run smoothly.

“Solid communication is the key to the success of this Pilkada,” emphasized Ogi.

This audience is the starting point for strong synergy between the Sumedang Regency Government, KPU, and Bawaslu in realizing a dignified Sumedang Pilkada. Let’s work together to create a safe, fair, and just democratic party, and produce leaders who are trustworthy to bring Sumedang further forward!
