Sumedang, May 11, 2024 – Acting Regent of Sumedang, Yudia Ramli, opened the Ideopolitor (Ideology, Politics, and Organization) and Silaturahmi of the Muhammadiyah District Leadership of Sumedang Regency at the State Building, Saturday (11/5). The event was attended by the Muhammadiyah Sumedang management board, as well as representatives from various other community organizations.
In his speech, Yudia expressed his high appreciation to Muhammadiyah for its role in supporting development in Sumedang Regency. According to him, Muhammadiyah has become a strategic partner of the government in realizing various development programs.
“Muhammadiyah is a strong organization with a neat organizational structure from the central level to remote villages,” said Yudia. “Muhammadiyah is also consistent in spreading Islam that is friendly, tolerant, and rahmatan lil ‘alamin.”
Furthermore, Yudia touched on Muhammadiyah’s role in politics. He said that Muhammadiyah always invites the community to do politics with politeness and noble character.
“Muhammadiyah also reminds us not to be politically illiterate. Politics is part of our national and state life,” he said.
Amidst the ongoing social dynamics, Yudia said that Ideopolitor is an important forum to strengthen the ideological, political, and organizational insights of Muhammadiyah cadres.
“These three pillars are a provision for Muhammadiyah to continue to provide enlightenment to the community and play its maximum role in advancing community, national, and state life,” emphasized Yudia.
On this occasion, Yudia also expressed his gratitude to Muhammadiyah for its contribution to building Sumedang, especially through the various educational institutions, hospitals, and orphanages it manages.
“Muhammadiyah’s contribution is very significant to the progress of the community,” he concluded.
Ideopolitor is expected to be a momentum for Muhammadiyah Sumedang to continue to improve its capacity and role in realizing a just, prosperous, and dignified society.
