HALLOSUMEDANG – The Sumedang Job Fair 2024 has officially opened! Acting Regent Yudia Ramli hopes this event will serve as a golden bridge between job seekers and companies, accelerating the absorption of local labor.

“This job fair is a golden opportunity for Sumedang residents to achieve their dream jobs,” said Yudia when opening the event at the PPS Field on Tuesday (25/6). He also encouraged companies to open their doors to people with disabilities, in accordance with applicable regulations.

In addition, Yudia emphasized the importance of synergy between companies and local governments in advancing investment, creating more jobs, and ultimately improving community welfare.

The Sumedang Job Fair is a concrete step by the government in combating unemployment and poverty. “We hope this event will ignite hope for job seekers to get decent jobs,” added Yudia.

Secretary of the Manpower and Transmigration Office, Bubun Aliminsyah, explained that this Job Fair aims to bring together job seekers with 34 companies offering 116 types of positions with a total of 14 thousand vacancies.

“We want to help companies get qualified and professional workers according to their needs,” concluded Bubun.
