HALLOSUMEDANG – Residents of Dusun Jambu Tengah, Jambu Village, Conggeang District, hope that civil registry and licensing services can continue to be provided throughout rural areas.
This sentiment was expressed by Apong (50) from Dusun Jambu Tengah, Jambu Village, during Acting Regent Herman Suryatman’s Ramadan Safari to Conggeang District on Tuesday afternoon, March 26, 2024.
“Hopefully, the services provided can be carried out in every village in Sumedang Regency. Thank you for the services provided, they are very friendly and responsive,” said Apong.
Apong admitted to being pleased because the issuance of his ID card could be done very quickly.
“I am very happy with the service provided. Just an hour ago, I was able to process my ID card,” Apong said.
At the same opportunity, during the Ramadan Safari to Conggeang District, Acting Regent Herman Suryatman inspected civil registry and licensing services in Jambu Village.
Hundreds of residents appeared enthusiastic about receiving services ranging from ID cards and family cards to Business Registration Numbers (NIB) through the mobile service as part of a ‘door-to-door’ initiative.
“This is an effort by the Sumedang Regency Government to provide the best service to the community. Faster is better, and cheaper is better,” said Herman, accompanied by Acting Secretary Tuti Ruswati.
Herman added that such efforts are expected to truly make the local government champions in the hearts of the people.
“The services provided only take one hour to complete. Even for NIB processing, it only takes 15 minutes. Thus, the government is there for the people,” he concluded.
