The Benefits of Organic Fertilizers

Organic fertilizers, inherently rich in essential nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, micronutrients, and beneficial organic matter, provide substantial benefits to both plants and the environment. Produced through composting, fermentation, or organic matter decomposition processes, they offer a sustainable alternative to chemical fertilizers.

By integrating organic fertilizers into farming practices, farmers can significantly reduce their reliance on chemical fertilizers, as highlighted by Lieutenant Colonel Rambu. Furthermore, the collaboration between Kodim 0610/Sumedang and Starbak, the food security initiative of Sumedang Regency, has paved the way for the development of organic rice production, with the focus now shifting towards increasing sales volume.
