HALLOSUMEDANG – Good news for Sumedang residents and tourists who often visit the Jatigede Dam! The Tolengas-Jatigede road section, which has been complained about due to its severely damaged condition, will be repaired soon this year.
Acting Regent of Sumedang, Herman Suryatman, said that the road repair will be carried out by the Cimanuk-Cisanggarung River Basin Center (BBWS) with a budget of Rp 45 billion.
“Especially for the Tolengas-Jatigede road section which is in very bad condition, it will be smooth this year. We will do hotmix. The budget is Rp 45 billion and it is supported by BBWS,” said Herman.
The road repair is part of the Sumedang Regency Government’s effort to improve road infrastructure in its area.
“We are trying our best to build infrastructure in Sumedang Regency from various sources. From APBD, Province, and APBN,” he said.
Based on field observations, several points on the Jatigede-Tolengas road section have been repaired. However, there are still several sections whose condition is still severely damaged.
It is hoped that with this road repair, access to the Jatigede Dam will be smoother and more comfortable, so that it can increase the number of tourists visiting.
